Gwen Stefani filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale after thirteen years of marriage. Right after that, rumors came out stating that he had been cheating on her with their former nanny for three years. In a new interview on The Tommy Show, Gwen opened up about her divorce and all of the chatter surrounding it.
She said, “I feel like I go back and listen to a lot of that stuff, and I get sick. You look at the song and you go, ‘That was a red flag. That was a moment where I was feeling just as bad as I feel today and why did I keep it up?'”
She went on to say, “I wish it didn’t happen, I wish that all of this wasn’t happening but at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey. In my life I’ve had two really bad heartbreaks and I’ve written some incredible music out of it and I feel so lucky to have that and to be able to share it.”
She has since begun dating country singer and fellow judge on The Voice, Blake Shelton. Reportedly, they’ve been hooking up as a means of getting back at their exes.
