Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced their plans to divorce after thirteen years of marriage in August. They said in a statement at the time, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
A source said at the time, “It only looks sudden, but everything was worked out months ago so paperwork could be filed and the marriage could be ended quickly and easily. Things were rocky before, but they tried to make the marriage work. But it just couldn’t. A lot of the feeling was gone.”
The duo cited irreconcilable differences in their divorce paperwork. Now, it appears that they have settled the terms of their divorce. The former couple will share joint custody of their three children and the kids will stay mostly with Gavin while Gwen tours.
Now only that, but they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement and Gavin will receive less than half of their shared property in order to expedite the process.
